Get Lucky, Gocho Style

In Venezuela, there’s a plant you can find almost anywhere—by the roadside, in backyard gardens, even pushing through cracks in the pavement. The locals call it Cariaquito Morado. It’s not just beautiful—it’s believed to guard against misfortune, sweep away the mala vibra, and turn the winds of fate in your favor.

Our Cariakito coffee carries that same protective spirit. Grown high in the misty slopes of Santa Cruz de Mora in Mérida, the Villanueva variety thrives in fertile Andean soils, nurtured by crisp mountain air and a unique microclimate shaped by the Mocotíes Valley. Each bean is steeped in the same quiet resilience as the Cariaquito itself—ever-present, unyielding, and full of hidden magic.

Once it crosses the Atlantic to Lisbon, we roast it in small batches to reveal its inner light: floral notes that bloom like dawn, smooth vanilla that wraps the palate, and the gentle caress of white chocolate.

More than a drink, Cariakito is a charm you can sip—rooted in the everyday magic of Venezuela.
